Tupac Amaru Shakur

At first I thought this to be an "Onion" type satire piece but then I realized this is an actual bill being discussed in our Federal Government. Now I am for all types of Music and I even listen to Hip Hop at times, but to waste congressional time, energy and money on one artist is totally nuts. Not to mention that he was raised in the Black Panther organization. I am a proponet of free speech, free expression, and free association. However I do not support racisim on ANY level and I feel the governement to support such a bill would be as wrong as a bill for Nathan Bedford Forest. Here is a link to the bill HR 4210. Call your congressman and urge them to not support legislation that is racisit. I am not very happy about this and I am outraged.

I think the primary reason you should oppose the bill is because Congress has no authority to pass it and that doing things like this is not the proper role of government.
